A praga dos gafanhotos- livro de Joel

O que deixou o gafanhoto cortador, comeu-o o gafanhoto migrador; o que deixou o migrador, comeu-o o gafanhoto devorador; o que deixou o devorador, comeu-o o gafanhoto destruidor. Joel 1:4

Joel: (Heb. Javé é Deus). Profeta proveniente de Judá, no reino Sul, filho de Betuel. O fato de o livro não mencionar um rei especifico em Judá ou Israel sugere que foi escrito num período no qual a monarquia não exercia controle político. Foi na ocasião em Joás ainda era criança e o governo estava sob o comando Joiada, sumo sacerdote e marido da tia do rei (2 Rs 11-12; 2 Cr 22:10-24; 16).

O livro de Joel abrange vários assuntos:

Cap. 1. Juízo e bênçãos em andamento. Sinais do dia do Senhor. A invasão dos gafanhotos. Os resultados da destruição das plantações. Convocação à oração e ao jejum. Detalhes sobre a destruição. Clamor ao Senhor.

Cap. 2. A vinda do Dia do Senhor. A invasão futura. Apelo ao arrependimento sincero. A resposta de Deus ao arrependimento. Bênçãos e julgamento futuro. Bênçãos espirituais no futuro distante. A promessa do Espírito Santo. Promessa de sinais e prodígios no dia do Senhor. Promessa de salvação para o remanescente.

Cap.3. O futuro julgamento das nações. Os princípios que regem o julgamento de Deus. As nações se preparam para a guerra. Sinais cósmicos do julgamento final. As bênçãos do dia do Senhor.

Falando do ataque dos gafanhotos

Uma vasta nuvem de gafanhotos cobria e destruía tudo o que encontrava pelo caminho. Em pouco tempo, as paisagens verdejantes haviam se transformado em deserto.

A destruição trouxe fome e miséria. A invasão deste exército de gafanhotos afetou todo o povo, desde os sacerdotes e anciãos, como o povo mais simples e o agricultor rico. Não havia ninguém mais farto, todos estavam diante da miséria e da fome.

Havia quatro variedades de espécies de gafanhotos, o cortador, o migrador, o devorador e o destruidor. Essas espécies de gafanhotos devoraram tudo o que encontrava pela frente, o que uma espécie deixava a outra destruía.

Essas pragas são comparadas à legiões satânicas

O Cortador

Essa espécie mora na lavoura, atinge o fruto, estragando parte dele, até que o resto apodreça; danifica a azeitona da qual extrai o azeite e a vinha que fabrica o suco da uva. O azeite e o vinho fala de unção e nosso lar precisa da unção do Espirito Santo, só assim seremos crentes avivados; tem demônios que vivem gerações e gerações no meio da família, são chamados de ‘hereditários’, essa legião atazana para impedir que essa família se envolvam na fé por completo, provocando situações diversas nos roubando a fé. Sem azeite e sem vinho, não podia fazer oferta da libação, que é a oferta do liquido, do azeite e do suco puro da uva.

Repara na tua vida, no meio da sua família se isso esta acontecendo, se o Espírito Santo tem sido a prioridade no seu lar, caso isso não esteja acontecendo, é preocupante. Vá para a oração e peça a Jesus para expulsar toda legião que tem causado o esfriamento espiritual.

O Migrador

O Migrador passa pela lavoura destruindo tudo, emigra por ela e devasta tudo pela frente. Ataca o caule deixando o branco da arvore; atacaram a figueira e vide, a oliveira e macieira, todos os pomares e campo de cereais como o trigo etc...

Esse é um tipo de legião demoníaca que traz prejuízo financeiro, fazendo com que a pessoa gaste o dinheiro em despesas inesperadas.

Quando o crente só perde é porque tem coisa pegando, isto é; tem demônios roubando o que Deus lhe deu. Acorde, expulsa o mal da sua casa em Nome de Jesus.

O Devorador

O nome já diz, esse gafanhoto devora tudo que esta ao seu alcance, chega com violência e devasta tudo e sem os cereais e os frutos não havia oferta de manjares ‘oferta solida’. Não é diferente no mundo espiritual, essa casta de demônio leva a pessoa à miséria, joga na sarjeta, encurrala na opressão devido ao prejuízo irreparável; tranca as portas e devora tudo.

Se algo parecido esta acontecendo no seu lar, fique atento, clame a Jesus para livrar seu lar, sua família, ele te dará proteção.

O Destruidor

Esse tipo de gafanhoto destrói tudo, brotos, folhas, galhos, caule e fruto. Deixa a planta sem vida.

É comparado a uma casta de demônio que leva a morte, tanto espiritual como física, através da enfermidade, suicídio, acidente etc.

Se acaso esta a beira de uma situação como essa, saiba que Jesus te liberta e Ele te dá vida, pois Ele é a Vida. Não se renda aos demônios, mais resista os em Nome de Jesus e seja livre.

O porque da invasão dos gafanhotos

O povo já não entregava as ofertas de manjares e libações como era ordenado por Deus, faziam isso de qualquer maneira e quando fazia. Deus então resolveu ter um acerto de contas com eles e da maneira dele. 

A assolação era grande e o povo sofria com a miséria causada pelos gafanhotos e com isso não podiam oferecer mais as ofertas de manjares e libações. Os sacerdotes e servidores da obra de Deus padeciam por não terem o que comer. A destruição foi grande, devasta e triste.

O profeta Joel entra em cena e compara tudo isso com o choro de uma virgem que fica viúva antes do casamento e se veste de pano de saco, Ele convida o povo ao arrependimento, ao lamento, ele manda que povo grite e clame a Deus.

A falta dos grãos de cereais, do vinho, do azeite abalou o culto no templo, uma vez que a adoração exigia que esses produtos fossem ofertados diariamente no altar. Joel manda o povo clamar intensamente a Deus, de coração arrependido e pedindo misericórdia.

Muitas são as vezes que os demônios entram na casa do crente porque esse é infiel nos dízimos e nas ofertas. Fica fácil para eles entrarem e devastar tudo.

E a igreja?

Chorem os sacerdotes, chorem os ministros dos altares, a fé esta sendo extinguida no meio da igreja, a unção esta acabando, o batismo com o Espírito Santo esta quase extinto; gritem por socorro, a igreja precisa ser avivada, é urgente. Sejam fiéis em tudo e isto inclui dízimos e ofertas. Grite, faça jejuns e orações para serem avivados, assim os demônios não terão êxito no seu lar.

Conclusão

O povo lamentou diante de Deus e se arrependeu e Deus teve misericórdia deles, afastou os gafanhotos por causa do choro. Do lamento, do arrependimento. A plantação nasceu e cresceu e agora esta viçosa.

Não pense que com a força do seu braço e da sua inteligência você vence o inimigo, você só vence com Jesus. Ele é a fortaleza, o socorro bem presente.

Assim como o agricultor outra vez prosperou, você também pode alcançar a boa colheita; depende da sua decisão de arrepender-se diante do Senhor, voltar se a Ele de todo o seu coração.

The Plague of Locusts - Book of Joel

What left the grasshopper cutter ate the migrating grasshopper; And when the migrant left, the devouring locust ate him up. And what the devourer left did the devouring locust. Joel 1: 4

Joel: (Heb. Yahweh is God). Prophet from Judah in the southern kingdom, son of Bethuel. The fact that the book does not mention a specific king in Judah or Israel suggests that it was written at a time when the monarchy had no political control. It was at that time when Joash was still a child and the government was under the command of Jehoiada, the high priest and husband of the king's aunt (2 Kgs 11-12; 2 Chr 22: 10-24; 16).

Joel's book covers several subjects:

Chapter 1. Judgment and blessings in progress. Signs of the day of the Lord. The invasion of locusts. The results of the destruction of plantations. Call to prayer and fasting. Details about the destruction. Cry to the Lord.

Chap. 2. The coming of the Sabbath. The future invasion. I call for sincere repentance. God's answer to repentance. Blessings and future judgment. Spiritual blessings in the distant future. The promise of the Holy Spirit. Promise of signs and wonders in the day of the Lord. Promise of salvation for the remnant.

Chapter 3 The future judgment of nations. The principles governing God's judgment. The nations prepare for war. Cosmic signs of the final judgment. The blessings of the Lord's day.

Speaking of grasshopper attack

A vast cloud of locusts covered and destroyed everything in its path. Before long, the lush landscapes had turned to desert.

The destruction brought hunger and misery. The invasion of this locust army affected all the people, from the priests and elders, as the simplest people and the rich farmer. There was no one else fed up, everyone was facing misery and hunger.

There were four varieties of locust species, the mower, the migrator, the devourer, and the destroyer. These species of locusts devoured all that lay ahead, which one species left the other destroyed.

These pests are compared to satanic legions.

The cutter

This species lives in the fields, hits the fruit, spoiling part of it until the rest rot; it damages the olive from which it extracts the olive oil and the vine that makes the grape juice. Olive oil and wine speak of anointing and our home needs the anointing of the Holy Spirit, only then will we be revived believers; there are demons that live generations and generations in the midst of the family, they are called hereditary, this atazana legion to prevent this family from fully engaging in faith, causing various situations robbing us of faith. Without olive oil and without wine, he could not make a drink offering, which is the offering of liquid, olive oil, and pure grape juice.

Notice in your life, in the midst of your family if this is happening, if the Holy Spirit has been the priority in your home, if it is not, it is worrying. Go to prayer and ask Jesus to expel every legion that has caused spiritual cooling.

The Migrator

The Migrator goes through the fields destroying everything, emigrates through it and devastates everything ahead. Attacks the stem leaving the white of the tree; attacked the fig and vine, the olive and apple tree, all the orchards and cereal field like wheat etc ...

This is a type of demonic legion that causes financial loss, causing the person to spend money on unexpected expenses.

When the believer only loses is because there is something taking, that is; there are demons stealing what God has given you. Wake up, cast out evil from your home in the Name of Jesus.

The devourer

The name says, this grasshopper devours everything in its power, arrives violently and devastates everything and without the cereals and fruits there was no offer of "solid offer". No different in the spirit world, this demon caste drives one into misery, throws it into the gutter, cornering into oppression due to irreparable damage; lock the doors and devour everything.

If something like this is happening in your home, beware, cry out to Jesus to deliver your home, your family, He will give you protection.

The destroyer

This type of grasshopper destroys everything, buds, leaves, twigs, stems and fruit. Leaves the plant lifeless.

It is compared to a demon caste that leads to death, both spiritual and physical, through illness, suicide, accident, etc.

If you are on the verge of such a situation, know that Jesus sets you free and He gives you life, for He is Life. Do not surrender to demons, but resist them in the Name of Jesus and be free.

Why the Locust Invasion

The people no longer delivered the meal offerings and libations as God commanded, they did it anyway and when they did. God then resolved to have a reckoning with them and his way.

The desolation was great and the people suffered from the misery caused by the locusts and could no longer offer the meal offerings and libations. The priests and servants of God's work suffered because they had nothing to eat. The destruction was great, devastating and sad.

The prophet Joel comes on the scene and compares all this to the cry of a virgin who becomes a widow before marriage and dresses in sackcloth. He invites the people to repentance, to the lament, he tells people to cry out and cry to God.

The lack of cereal grains, wine, and olive oil shook the worship in the temple, as worship required these products to be offered daily on the altar. Joel tells the people to cry out to God intensely, with a repentant heart and asking for mercy.

There are many times when demons enter the believer's house because it is unfaithful in tithes and offerings. It's easy for them to come in and devastate everything.

And the church?

The priests weep, the altar ministers weep, the faith is being extinguished in the midst of the church, the anointing is ending, the baptism with the Holy Spirit is almost extinct; shout for help, the church needs to be revived, it is urgent. Be faithful in everything and this includes tithes and offerings. Shout, make fasts and prayers to be revived so that demons will not succeed in your home.

Conclusion

The people lamented before God and repented, and God had mercy on them, drove away the locusts because of their weeping. Of regret, of regret. The plantation was born and grown and is now lush.

Do not think that with the strength of your arm and your intelligence you defeat the enemy, you only win with Jesus. He is the fortress, the very present help.

Just as the farmer once again prospered, so can you achieve the good harvest; it depends on your decision to repent before the Lord, to turn to Him with all your heart.
